A New Name Deserves A New Look
SDS Global Once Again Stays Ahead of the Curve on Service and Technology

Right on the heels of making the major announcement that Security Delivery Service, Inc. will soon become SDS Global Logistics; management has unveiled a brand new website which highlights the progressive changes being made at one of the region’s most respected transportation companies. The site which can be reached by either the old address, www.sdsexpress.com or the new shorter address, www.sdsgl.com, is a sharp contrast to the old site.

“We were proud of our existing site, but the new name really demanded a new look,” says Tony Racioppo, the President of SDS. Realistically, any objective observer can tell immediately the new site is brighter, easier to navigate and provides more tools for the user than the old site. In addition to having improved online ordering and tracking, the site also provides valuable interactive tools and links which are of obvious service to any shipping manager or buyer. Whether you want to know where your shipment is, or how to convert Euro’s to Dollars, the site provides the information.

“The real beauty of the site is in its simplicity,” says Matthew Wizeman, the CFO of the company that looks to become a major player in each of its five service segments. The site doesn’t have anything that a user doesn’t really need and there are no dead-ends. If you are looking for something that we handle, you will find it quickly, and you won’t find anything that you don’t need.” Perhaps we could all learn a lesson from this mantra which seems to permeate the underlying thought process throughout the company. Keep it simple, provide the key information, and get the job done.
