| Description: | Qualified candidates will assume accountability for the business, mission and goals; Must achieve targets set by the Sales Manager; Function as a member of the sales team; Responsible for increasing sales from canvassing prospects, cold calling, warm calling and through sales research; Responsible for attending industry events and networking opportunities to learn new trends and build relationships towards increasing sales; Create and manage sales pipeline and report weekly on progress through company reporting procedures; Gather competitive market intelligence and share with management and operations; Responsible for management of leads and clients in Contact Management Database; Entertain clients for new business development and maintenance; Key contact for client management, handle customer complaints/problems; Write proposals and set up new accounts; Set prospect/client appointments |
| Qualifications: | 5+ Years experience in sales (strong industry preference); Excellent client management skills; Strong organizational skills; Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; Good Database Management; Strong PC Skills; College Degree Preferred; This is a direct outside sales position. | Qualifications: | Must have excellent geographical knowledge of New York City and the
Tri-State areas; excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be computer literate and have dispatch software expertise, and able to read maps and use mapping software; must have good customer service skills and the ability to work in a high volume, high pressure, fast-paced environment. Must have a minimum of five years industry experience with verifiable references.
Work includes dispatching route, prescheduled and on-demand courier services to independent and house drivers, foot messengers and time-service employees. The candidate will report to and assist the Operations Manager in supervising a staff of ten. The candidate will also assist in hiring and training other dispatchers, customer service representatives, house drivers and independent drivers. The candidate must be able to provide cost-saving measures and produce weekly and monthly performance and P & L reports; must be able to manage customers special requests, be a team player with a can do attitude, have a well-rounded personality and a sense of humor.
